We are seeking a Pulmonology Physician for a full-time, permanent position in Birmingham, AL, with an outpatient primary care setting. This role involves an inpatient / outpatient mix with a call schedule of 1 : 5 and offers a comprehensive financial package, including competitive salary and benefits. Pulmonary / Critical Care opening in Birmingham, AL - Sleep Optional- Located in Birmingham- Full Time; Permanent- Employed- Sleep fellowship is a plus- BE / BC- Outpatient primary care setting- Well established private practice - New graduates -AND- experienced candidates encouraged to apply- Inpatient / Outpatient mix- Call will be 1 : 5- 11,000 SQ Feet on hospital campus (3 PFT rooms, 12 exam rooms, X-ray, EKG, etc.)Comprehensive Financial Package that may include the following : - Competitive Salary (based on MGMA guidelines)- Medical Education Debt Assistance- Fellowship Stipend (if applicable)- Relocation expenses- Vacation, health, dental, vision benefitsThe Medical Center is a 434-bed, tertiary care medical center serving residents of Birmingham and surrounding communities in Central Alabama. It offers programs and services in all medical and surgical areas. This includes cardiology, robotic surgery, oncology, neurology, womens health, mental health, digestive diseases, geriatrics, physical medicine and rehab, sports medicine, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and emergency care. The hospitals medical staff includes more than 600 physicians representing 30 specialties and sub-specialties. Birmingham, ALBirmingham has been named one of the most affordable cities and is the largest city in Alabama. The city offers a comfortable climate nearly year-round. Birmingham attracts outdoor advocates to play golf, bike, hike and mountain climb. Birmingham also offers a great restaurant and nightlife scene.
