About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Maryland!

Hematology-Oncology Physician – Michigan (Locum Tenens)

Dates of Coverage : Starting approximately 10 / 1 / 2025 – ongoing

Schedule :

Outpatient Clinic : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM

After-hours call : 5 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM, shared call pool with APP support

Call ratio : 1 in 5

Practice Details :

Setting : Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic, and infusion center (Cancer Center attached to hospital)

Goal : Position will be nearly all hematology

Team : 6 physicians, 5 inpatient APPs (covering 2 hospitals), 6 outpatient APPs

Radiation oncologists on-site

Average daily volume : 10–15 inpatients, 15 outpatients

EMR : Epic

Credentialing timeframe : 90–120 days

Oncology – Inpatient & Outpatient

Required Procedures :

FNA / Biopsy

Required Duties :

Participation on tumor board

Ordering tests and imaging

Prescribing
