Purpose Statement : The Quality Director combines process quality assurance with customer product quality and drives compliance to the Plexus Quality Management System and organizational goals. This role partners closely with operations teams in manufacturing, sustaining services and customer management. The Director will focus on quality and delivery targets while minimizing the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and improving operational efficiency. This is a key indirect leadership role, responsible for leading the Quality Operations Function for multiple Plexus sites within a Geographical Region, Business Unit or Industry Segment.

Key Job Accountabilities :

• Contribute to the development of the Global Quality Operations Strategy and own implementation within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Embody the Plexus Culture of Quality coaching, teaching and mentoring influencers in such a way to make culture a positive differentiator for Customers.
• Drive standard work and process efficiency in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), First Article Inspection (FAI), Process Failure Modes Effects and Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
• Guide teams in data analysis and advanced problem solving techniques through the use of statistics, customer complaints, investigations and corrective and preventive actions.
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values.
