They are seeking an experienced Assistant Corporate Controller to step into a highly visible role, partnering closely with leadership to ensure financial integrity, drive operational efficiency, and support continued growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Assistant Corporate Controller, you’ll play a key role across accounting, reporting, and compliance functions, including :
- Overseeing accounting operations for multiple real estate and construction entities
- Managing job costing and monitoring project-level financial performance
- Preparing and supporting cost segregation studies and property tax appeals
- Handling closing statements , loan closing journal entries , and related reconciliations
- Assisting with audits and serving as the primary liaison with external auditors
- Partnering with corporate banking functions and maintaining strong banking relationships
- Ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
What We’re Looking For
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience (construction / real estate strongly preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceHands-on experience with :Multi-entity accountingCost segregation and property tax appealsJob costingAudit preparationLoan and closing statement journal entriesCorporate banking relationshipsJDE (JD Edwards) experience is required and non-negotiableAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and strong MS Office proficiencyWhy This Role Stands Out
