Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival.

Minimum Requirements :

Current State License or Certificate in state where they will be working

One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a prestigious healthcare facility in Palo Alto, California. Duration : 13 weeks (with potential extensions!)

Shift : Days

Schedule : 5x8s | 40 hours / week

Total Weekly Pay : $3,342 / week

Hourly Rate : $1,354 / week

Stipends : $1,988 / week (housing + meals)

Valid MAM - Mammography Certification

Active CRT

BLS Certification

Minimum 3 years of Mammography Tech experience

EPIC EMR experience preferred
