APU Disassembly Technician

TAT Technologies is looking for qualified APU Disassembly Technician . APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) is a turbine engine utilized on the aircraft to provide electrical and pneumatic power during periods when the main engines are not running. The following is a list of job duties that an APU Disassembly Technician will perform :

• Cleaning and removing paint from parts using chemical paint stripper and blast cabinets.
• Understand the purpose and scope of each process area, including disassembly, non-destructive testing, machining, inspection, measurement, test, paint, and reassembly.
• Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control.
• Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system.
• Reads and understands Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentations and other related materials.
• Operates, maintains and services specialized equipment.
• Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task.
• Other duties as assigned.
