We will soon be expanding our practice, in the near future we will also be adding facial esthetic treatments.

We are in need of an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a current certification from the State Dental Board and will also have prior experience doing basic dental procedures. In addition to providing first-rate customer service, this position requires that the assistant be able to multi-task and work well on a team. Dentrix dental software preferred, and must be x-ray certified.

Responsibilities :

• Setting up and showing patients to their exam rooms
• Preparing patients for procedures and / or surgeries
• Assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and surgeries
• Making dental impressions or taking digital scans
• Sterilizing dental tools and equipment
• General chairside assisting of dentist
• Taking x-rays or CBCT scans when necessary

Technical Skills

Knowledge of dental procedures

Ability to take X-rays, make dental impressions, read blood pressure, etc.

Ability to prepare and sterilize exam room and dentistry tools

Understanding of common dental materials

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
