Responsibilities

Duties include maintaining the daily schedule, checking in / out patients, handling incoming phone calls, as well as other various front desk duties

Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Answer phone calls

Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments

Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, referrals and faxes

Ensure the reception area is clean and organized

Job description

We are a busy practice looking for an experienced scheduling coordinator who is capable of multi-tasking and has excellent verbal and communication skills. Duties include maintaining the daily schedule, checking in / out patients, handling incoming phone calls, as well as other various front desk duties. Dental front office experience required. Experience with Dentrix is a plus! We look forward to hearing from you!
