Sr Teradata Developer

Synechron Inc is seeking a Sr Teradata Developer- (Regulatory Reporting FR Y-14Q )- financial services to join our Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days a week is a must in Hybris) long-term contract.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Teradata Developer with a strong focus on regulatory reporting, specifically FR Y-14Q reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices, particularly in the context of regulatory reporting.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica or Talend, for regulatory data integration.
• Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design
• Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders, manage timelines, escalation & provide on time status - strong project management skills as well
• Good knowledge in Teradata concepts and Logical / physical database design
• In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata
• Experience in SQL programming (views / store procedures / macros / functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards
• Good knowledge of BI / DW concepts
• In-depth knowledge of Performance tuning and optimization to handle and process large volume of data in Teradata
• Experience in SQL programming (views / store procedures / macros / functions) based on User requirements and architectural guidelines and standards
• Experience in writing Unix Shell scripting is a must
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
