Pay

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr – $19.90/hr Non‑Teaching Rate and up to $29.70/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

Responsibilities

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count and ensure continuous growth and enjoyment of music.
• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with customer service as needed, helping build and maintain long‑term students.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Student & Parent Partnership

• Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trust, and respecting parents’ knowledge of their child.
• Communicate progress to students and parents.
• Share goals and progress frequently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach an instrument you are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Vocals, Piano).
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the instrument you will teach.
