Accounts Receivable Specialist

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services

Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and secure payment from payers

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to HIPAA and other regulations

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

At least three years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up

Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims

Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and medical business office procedures

At least three years of experience with accounts receivable software
