🏗️ Senior Structural Engineer – Power & Heavy Industrial Projects

Location : Mt. Laurel, NJ (Hybrid)

Opportunity Overview :

Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support large-scale power generation and heavy industrial infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone experienced in both new construction and retrofit environments, with a strong understanding of structural engineering design principles, seismic analysis, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead structural engineering design for complex power and industrial projects

Prepare structural calculations, reports, studies, and construction documents

Design foundations, structural steel, and related systems from concept through construction

Review applicable codes and specifications; ensure compliance throughout project lifecycle

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated design packages

Support site work, retrofits, and structural elements of both greenfield and brownfield projects

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

8+ years of experience in structural design (preferably in power or industrial sectors)

PE license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure a plus)

Proficient in structural analysis tools such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad

Familiar with Autodesk Advance Steel (preferred)

Prior experience with seismic design for critical infrastructure (nuclear industry experience strongly valued)

Strong communication and collaboration skills
