The City of Prior Lake is currently seeking an Accountant. The primary functions are assisting with preparation and review of the annual budget, assisting with treasury functions, administering special assessments, completing accounting activities and general ledger preparation to assure timely and accurate financial data, budget to actual reporting, monitor and analyze revenues, expenses and budget variances. Minimum qualifications are Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 4 years of general accounting experience; preference given for experience in municipal accounting; or minimum of 2 years of experience and current Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
