Description of Work:The Department of Philosophy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks candidates for a Visiting Faculty position to begin in the Fall of 2026. The successful candidate will teach six (6) courses per year (3 per semester), including both undergraduate and graduate levels. Other duties include research and some service on department and college committees. Areas of Specialization (AOS) include Ancient Philosophy or Early Modern Philosophy. The Areas of Competence (AOC) include Ancient Philosophy and Early Modern Philosophy.
