Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer with a strong automotive background and hands-on experience in AUTOSAR-based embedded systems . This role focuses on testing and validating embedded ECUs, vehicle cybersecurity features, and connected vehicle components across Toyota's ecosystem.

You will work on advanced embedded security testing projects that directly influence the cybersecurity posture of current and next-generation vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform embedded software testing and security testing on automotive ECUs, firmware, and AUTOSAR components.
• Validate embedded systems, middleware, basic software (BSW), and application layers within AUTOSAR architecture.
• Conduct testing on vehicle components, connected car systems, and interactions with mobile / web applications.
• nalyze vulnerabilities, assist with penetration testing, and support mitigation strategies.
• Develop test cases, automation scripts, and test tooling using Python and related frameworks.
• Validate communication protocols and interfaces across vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Work closely with cybersecurity, embedded SW, and system engineering teams to ensure compliance with automotive security standards.
• Document test findings, provide actionable reports, and support defect resolution.
• Ensure compliance with automotive cybersecurity and software quality standards such as ISO 21434, ASPICE, AUTOSAR guidelines .

Embedded Systems Expertise

C, C++, Python (Python for automation and tooling is highly preferred).

JTAG, SPI, UART, SWD .
