Strong expertise with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security). Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases , including query tuning and schema design. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and building high-performance RESTful APIs. Proven background with message-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar). Skilled in writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability. Experienced in Agile / Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning and peer reviews Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or related field , or equivalent experience Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2 or higher). Experience with PostgreSQL; Control-M or similar orchestration platform; Drools or similar Business Rules Management System; Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume; Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience; Working knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles and tools (e.g., GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode). ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to help build and support critical financial systems. You’ll work in an Agile environment, turning complex business needs into reliable backend solutions using Java, Spring, and modern architecture patterns.
Strong spoken and written English is essential, along with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and logically with global teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring;
- Own the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting, and monitoring;
- Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents;
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.

Requirements
2+ years of experience in Java (version 11 or higher). Strong knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Core. Experience with SQL and databases such as MongoDB. Expertise in microservices architecture and REST / API-based development. Ability to write unit tests and integration tests for application reliability. Capability to work effectively within a Scrum team and agile environment. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience developing applications with complex business logic.
