Title : Engineer

Location : Plano, TX (Remote)

Employment Type : Contract - 6 months

Compensation :

Pay Range : $41.61-$61.20 Per HR

Description :

Develop solutions aligned with business requirements using standard templates and systems.

Communicate structured cabling standards to stakeholders and partners.

Translate business requirements into functional technology requirements.

Adhere to design standards and global design authority processes.

Participate in project-related interviews and discovery with design teams.

Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide support to project managers during infrastructure adoption.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and administer RFPs, estimates, and scope development.

Oversee construction management and cabling contractor activities.

Participate in infrastructure acceptance and project close-out support.

Interface with engineering and architectural firms.

Maintain and adhere to department policies and service delivery functions.

Stay current with technologies and maintain industry certifications.

Work independently and in team settings across various locations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

Minimum of ten years' experience in structured cabling design.

Strong analytical and client interfacing skills.

Experience in IT service delivery and major IT projects.

Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

RCDD certification is required and must be active.

Willingness to travel to various data centers.
