Location: Virtual/remote/online - anywhere in the United States!
Pay: $22 per 45 minute session
Hours: Minimum 2 sessions/week (minimum 3 hours/week including prep and professional development)
Term: Ongoing (Fall: Sept-Dec, Winter: January-March, Spring: March-May, Summer: June-July)
Times: Other times are available but the highest need for tutors are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays in READING for middle schoolers:

• 2:40-3:25pm (PT)
• 3:40-4:25pm (MT)
• 4:40-5:25pm (CT)
• 5:40-6:25pm (ET)

About EPATT
East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) is a nonprofit serving K12 students since 1988 through academic tutoring, tennis, and enrichment activities. Our mission is to help students become college and career-ready.

Position Summary
Do you want to equip youth for college and career readiness?! Then EPATT tutoring wants you! EPATT Tutors provide 1:1 academic support to students in grades K12 using EPATTs curriculum. Subjects include Reading, Math, Science, or SAT Prep.

What Were Looking For

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong understanding of K-12 math, reading, and writing
• College students or graduates preferred (high school seniors with a 3.5+ GPA may apply)
• Organized, responsible, and energetic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with youth from under-resourced communities is a plus

Technology Requirements

• Comfortable using technology to lead virtual tutoring sessions.
• Able to independently troubleshoot basic tech issues and support students as needed.
• Must use a laptop or desktop computer with a working camera and microphone (iPads/tablets are not compatible).
• Reliable high-speed internet connection required.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new digital tools as needed.

Benefits

• Eligible for Federal Work Study (if school is partnered with EPATT)
