Construction Management
- Collaborate with department representatives, architects, engineers, and consultants to establish project requirements, specifications, and schedules.
- Assist with development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings.
- Support construction and permitting processes.
- Prepare and review bid documents; assist with solicitation.
- Aid in negotiation and enforcement of contractual requirements with contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Monitor and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Inspect projects for compliance with design specifications.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and communication regarding milestones and resource allocation.
- Support estimating, forecasting, and financial review of job cost reports.
- Track invoices, change orders, and purchase orders for accuracy and deadlines.
- Participate in project start-up, subcontractor, and progress meetings.
- Assist Project Managers in monitoring costs, budget variances, and expenditures.
Field Operations (may include one or more of the following)
Support site quality control and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Assist with punch list development, documentation, and execution.Help schedule project staff weekly / bi-weekly.Support safety management and compliance with regulations and codes.Identify, report, and implement corrective actions for non-compliance and safety hazards.Project Coordination
Maintain updated plans and specifications; distribute bulletins and addendums to relevant parties.Insert plan / spec information into contract forms for processing.Track warranty and punch list procedures; report progress to Project Managers and Owners.Assist with documentation for Operations and Maintenance Manuals, including “as-built” plans.Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders within project management software.Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.Generate monthly reports for Project Managers.Special Projects
Bid Coordination :Assist with bid document preparation and review.
Maintain subcontractor and bidder lists; utilize Pantera for notifications and updates.Upload documents and addendums; follow up with subcontractors.Support bid day activities and post-bid follow-up internally and externally.Estimating :Gather and compile data for conceptual and bid proposal estimates.
Perform accurate takeoffs using Stack Estimating.Analyze subcontractor bids for completeness and risk.Assist with internal bid support and routine estimates.Maintain accurate subcontractor and supplier information.Provide administrative support for estimating processes.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related four-year program (preferred).Experience in construction project engineering or similar roles (preferred).Knowledge of construction practices, techniques, ADA Title III, contract law, project controls, and building support systems.Familiarity with construction safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards (helpful).Demonstrated ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.Previous leadership experience.Required Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite).Willingness to work both in-office and on project sites, including travel and overnight stays as needed.Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and extended hours (average 50–60 hours per week).Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.Physical Demands and Work Environment
