As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and promote a welcoming environment for clients and visitors in a financial institution setting.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
