A company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder (Professional Review Specialist I).
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical services and billing to evaluate accuracy and necessity of care
Collect and analyze data to make decisions regarding billing and treatment plans
Document work and conclusions in designated computer programs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
CPC or CPC-A certification required
Preferred experience in medical bill auditing
Knowledge of workers' compensation claims process
Experience with utilization review (prospective, concurrent, retrospective)
