[job_card.job_description]Provide nursing care for patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Work in both stepdown AND medsurg units (both required) Experience with chemotherapy and oncology patients required ONS / ONCC certification required (will consider fundamentals certification possibly) Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments Assist physicians in examination of patients and minor diagnostic procedures Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary Administer medications as prescribed Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel Delegate tasks to support staff 1 year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License required Current Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required Strong verbal and written communication skills needed Computer skills required Referral bonus
