Job Summary :
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in medium voltage electrical systems, panel design, automation, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing control system hardware using Allen-Bradley controls. Experience in chemical plant or industrial gas operations is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement medium voltage electrical systems, including panel design and layout
- Develop and implement automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including schematics, one-line diagrams, equipment load estimation, and panel layouts
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues, including fault analysis and repair
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including NFPA, NEMA, NEC, and IEEE
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify / procure electrical equipment and materials
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on medium voltage systems and automation3+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley controls, including PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems, medium voltage circuit design3+ years of experience with panel design and layout, including electrical schematics and one-line diagrams3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, ProfiCAD, or equivalent design softwareWorking knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA, NEC, NEMA, IEEEMust be within 1 hour commute from Oviedo, Florida site.
