Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary-level teaching opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in grades K-4 within a self-contained classroom setting. The role involves working with students who have intellectual disabilities, including some with Down syndrome, many of whom are approximately two grade levels behind their peers.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction across subjects such as life skills, math, science, and language arts to support student growth.
• Manage a full-time caseload, working 40 hours a week, 5 days per week.
• Collaborate with other staff to facilitate student participation in special classes outside the primary classroom.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
