Job Description

The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and stocking the clinic. Under the medical oversight of a doctor, the MA will coordinate and manage client care to include preparing clients for treatment and exams, translation, referrals, documentation, and performing routine specialized procedures.

Specialties : Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry

Salary :

Level I - up to one year experience, $20.00 / hour + $1.00 / hour for certified MAs

Level II - 1 -3 years experience, $20.00-$21.50 / hour + $2.00 / hour for certified MAs

Level III - 3+ years experience, $26.00 / hour + $2.00 / hour for certified MAs

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School diploma and certificate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program
• Must complete internal credentialing and privileging within 90 days of hire date
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
• Knowledge of Windows environment and / or Electronic Health Records systems
• TB test, Hep B Vaccine, Immunization Records
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date
• Basic Life Support trained
• Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance or sign waiver
