About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring Lead Animation Specialist with an exceptional background in high-fidelity action-adventure gaming. In this role, you will guide and motivate a talented team of animators while crafting the animation vision in conjunction with Creative and Art Directors. Your leadership will ensure the production of AAA-quality animations that enhance gameplay experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess strategic leadership skills, hands-on animation expertise, and the ability to manage the complete animation pipeline from concept through to implementation. Participation in motion capture shoots, coordinating with external vendors, and a solid understanding of gameplay systems like combat and traversal animations are crucial for success in this role.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in a leadership position within animation, a thorough understanding of gameplay mechanics, and proficiency in industry-standard animation tools and technologies. Collaboration with design and engineering teams is essential, and a strong portfolio showcasing realistic animations is a must. Experience with motion capture workflows, Maya, and real-time game engines significantly strengthens your application. Familiarity with third-person combat and traversal animations, along with expertise in cinematic tools within Unreal Engine, will be considered advantageous.
