Mental Health Receptionist

Salary: $18 - $20 /hour

Be Well Kentucky (BWK) specializes in the provision of evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, trauma, and other anxiety related disorders. BWK is the parent company of Louisville Center for Eating Disorders, the only PHP and IOP for eating disorders in Kentucky.

We are seeking a hardworking, warm, outcome-oriented individual to be a part-time Reception Intern at our Lexington satellite office to begin ASAP.

Hours are Monday andWednesday from 9am-5pm.

The ideal candidate should be well-organized, have a high level of communication skills, and work well as a member of a team.

This individual is responsible for performing all reception, secretarial/clerical aspects of the clinic including greeting and scheduling clients, payment collection, and assisting staff members with a variety of tasks.

Essential Duties

• Welcome visitors/patients by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Orienting patients to the office space and making them comfortable.
• Assisting therapists in organizational, therapy, and case management tasks.
• Responsible for charge collection and daily balancing.
• Answering phones and making outbound calls
• Comply with all policies and applicable procedures.
• Maintain security of sensitive patient information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate appointments for patients and staff.
• Restocking supplies needed around the office.
• Collect electronic questionnaire data from patients.
• Aid in brand marketing and promotion.
• Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma
• Previous experience in office setting; experience in medical field a plus
• Must have exceptional customer service and computer skills
• Must have strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $18 - $20 /hour, depending on experience and education
