Field Service Technician

LK Jordan is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client’s team in Pasadena, TX. This role is responsible for start-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment. The position requires travel to customer sites throughout Houston and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, as well as various air dryers.
  
• 
  Perform diagnostics to determine causes of failures in compressed air system equipment.
  
• 
  Conduct routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, cleaning, and setting factory-standard controls.
  
• 
  Recommend equipment or system improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
  
• 
  Consult with customers regarding equipment needs, maintenance requirements, and repair solutions.
  
• 
  Provide technical assistance during equipment start-ups.
  
• 
  Accurately complete all required job documentation.

Requirements

• 
  3+ years of experience working with compressed air equipment strongly preferred.
  
• 
  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
• 
  Ability to read and understand parts/service manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  
• 
  Proficient use of multimeters, hand tools, and power tools while adhering to safety guidelines.
  
• 
  Ability to regularly stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
