Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available to support long-term care prescriptions and pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role offers the chance to contribute to patient care through accurate medication dispensing, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accept and dispense prescription medications with accuracy and pliance.
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify patterns of overuse.
• Ensure medicines supplied meet legal standards and suit patient needs.
• Maintain confidential and precise patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Provide medication consultations addressing dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper administration.
• Educate patients on medical device usage including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• pound medications and prepare sterile solutions following established protocols.
• Supervise pharmacy staff such as pharmacy technicians and clerks, supporting team efficiency.
• Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and interns to resolve drug-related issues.
