Job Summary : - Job Title : Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM)

• Location : Springfield, VT
• Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday
• Duration : 14 weeks with a possibility of extension
• The RNUM is responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health through daily management and long-term planning of patient care.
• The role involves directing and developing nursing staff, creating schedules and answering health-related questions.
• The RNUM collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff.
• They provide physical and psychological support to patients, their friends, and families.
• They maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
• The RNUM assures quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing divisions.
• They enforce adherence to the state board of nursing and state nurse practice requirements.
• The RNUM maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training nurses and auxiliary staff.
• The role also involves completing patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff.
• Experience required includes an RN License and BLS Certification.
• The job requires an RN State License.
• Certificates required include BLS and Covid card.
