Controls Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our Electrical Department. This role involves equipment testing, PLC programming, HMI design, and the reviewing and development of electrical documentation. The technician will be responsible for onsite commissioning, managing customer relations both pre and post project installations, troubleshooting system operations, and providing technical support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment testing to ensure proper functionality.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Design and implement Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Review and develop electrical documentation.
• Perform onsite commissioning of systems.
• Manage customer relations before and after project installations.
• Troubleshoot system operations effectively.
• Provide technical support to customers.

Work Environment

The position requires travel to customer sites during weekdays approximately 25-50% of the time, with the remainder of time spent at the main office in Gallatin, TN. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
