job summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is central to driving cloud adoption, optimizing data infrastructure, and ensuring compliance across the organization's technical environment.

responsibilities :

• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures utilizing a full spectrum of GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub / Sub, GCS, Dataflow, etc.).
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and enterprise-wide best practices.
• Build and manage data pipelines using key GCP tools such as Airflow Composer, Pub / Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub for continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager to ensure consistency and automation.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of complex network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, peering, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Manage IAM, roles, and policies for secure access, resource governance, and compliance.
• Oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using native GCP tools (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Ops Agent).
• Proactively optimize cloud resource usage for maximum cost efficiency and performance.
• Apply industry best practices for data security, identity management, encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
• Implement workload and data protection mechanisms utilizing Cloud KMS, VPC Service Controls, and Security Command Center.
• Mentor data engineers, lead technical workshops, and guide design reviews.
• Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) on GCP technologies and advocate for strategic cloud adoption across cross-functional teams.
