Advanced Software Engineer for Linux Driver Development in Crypto and Cross-Domain Solutions

Acara Solutions seeks an Advanced Software Engineer for Linux Driver Development in Crypto and Cross-Domain Solutions for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.

• As a software engineer for the Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing and developing next-generation cryptographic solutions.
• Design and develop Linux kernel drivers for embedded cryptographic and cross-domain systems.
• Contribute to a cross-functional engineering team delivering high-performance solutions.
• Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges.
• Participate in secure development practices aligned with classified program requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and innovation across the engineering lifecycle.

Required Skills / Qualifications : -Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.-Minimum of 5 years of experience developing Linux Kernel Drivers for embedded systems.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Ability to lead the software development process.-Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.-Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.-Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.-Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.-Experience with Petalinux / Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+ / Versal).-Experience with Linux Networking / Routing.-Capable of proposing high-quality and high-performing solutions with minimal input.-Skilled in kernel driver debugging techniques needed.-Experience with Docker and podman on Linux.-Experience with Windriver Linux.
