Custodian (Pw Facilities)

The City of Peoria Public Works Department is seeking a Custodian to join its Facilities Division. This role involves physically demanding tasks, such as cleaning and room setups, with lifting requirements of 10-25 pounds for tables and chairs. Custodians must be adaptable and comfortable working in various environments across the city, frequently moving from one building to another as part of their daily responsibilities.

The ideal candidate for this position will have :

• Previous experience in a government or municipal setting.
• Experience using a work order system like Infor / Hansen.
• Ability to order and maintain supplies.
• Work independently and in a team atmosphere.
• Experience with custodial equipment (floor scrubber, carpet extractor, & floor buffer)
