Summary
Child CareTeachers support children with their physical and emotional needs, foster critical skills development, and ensure a safe and fun learning environment. The teachers willmonitorchildren 's developmental progress, oversee learning activities, and tend to children’s basic needs like preparing meals or changing diapers.This position reports to the Director of Forest HillChild CareCenter.
Duties
- Educate and take care ofchildren .
- Help in building children’s developmental skills and track theirprogress .
- Develop and deliver interactive lessonplans.
- Establish and enforce behavior rules in theclassroom.
- Offer classroom resources andtools.
- Maintain a cleanenvironment.
- Ensure proper sign in / sign out of children eachday.
- Adapt teaching materials and approaches to meet children's learning styles andinterests.
- Manage all classroom activities, including breaks, play, lessons, andmeals.
- Maintain positive relationships among thechildren.
- Track progress and offer documented reports tofamilies.
- Implement lesson plans through collaboration with other staffmembers.
- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and healthprocedures.
- Facilitate children's activities, including storytelling, games, andsongs.
- Maintain classroom inventories for supplies andmaterials.
- In the case of an emergency, follow the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
Requirements
MinimumJob Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years ofage.High School Diploma or equivalent.Have experience in Early Childhood Education or relatedfield.Satisfactory complete background check per state regulations.Nice To Haves
