Mechanical Piping Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Piping Engineer to support the design, analysis, and implementation of piping systems for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial facilities such as chemical processing, oil & gas, or power generation facility experience. This role involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality designs that meet project requirements.

Typical Job Duties Include

• Piping System Design : Develop and review piping layouts, specifications, and material selections in accordance with project and industry standards.
• 3D Modeling & Drafting : Work with designers and drafters to create piping drawings using CAD software such as Cadworx
• Stress Analysis : Perform pipe stress analysis using tools to ensure integrity under operational conditions.
• Material & Equipment Selection : Specify piping materials, valves, pumps, and other mechanical components suitable for industrial applications.
• Code & Standard Compliance : Ensure designs adhere to ASME B31.1 / B31.3, API, ANSI, and other relevant industry standards.
• Field Support & Coordination : Assist with site visits, inspections, and construction support to verify installation compliance with design documents.
• Collaboration : Work closely with process engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Project Documentation : Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation for project approval.
