Temp Coach-Assistant, Soccer

Role : Concordia University Irvine Men's Soccer is seeking a committed and experienced First Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in all facets of the program. This position plays a critical role in helping execute the team's strategic, competitive, and cultural vision, with responsibilities spanning coaching, recruiting, administration, and player development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily :

• Support all on field coaching responsibilities, including practice planning, training sessions, game preparation, tactical execution, and opponent / game video analysis.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop and implement overall team strategy and performance goals.
• Support administrative operations such as ARMS management, NCAA compliance, team travel, equipment coordination, and fundraising initiatives.
• Assist in recruiting across all positions, identifying and evaluating prospective student athletes who align with the program's mission and competitive goals.
• Invest in cultivating a Christ centered team culture that emphasizes care for student athletes and a relentless pursuit of excellence on and off the field.

Education and / or Experience :

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.

Part Time Staff, Non-Exempt

$32 / hr
