Order Processor

Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and handle the lifecycle of customer orders in our order management system.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve credit issues efficiently.
• Act as a Material Strider, applying lean principles to handle the flow of materials within the organization.
• Follow Standard Work and resupply paths, ensuring no bending, stretching, twisting, or lifting. Ensure ergonomic safety practices are followed.
• Use the Long Lead Time Parts Kanban Board to easily find the card when the parts arrive.
• Participate in weekly reviews of Kanban Audits, discussing actual and design numbers and addressing top 10 actual vs. design gaps.
• Apply tools like value stream mapping and Kaizen techniques to continually improve processes and eliminate waste.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to improve understanding and implementation of the Fortive Business System (FBS) tools and methodologies.
