Medical Director – Geriatric Medicine

Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $240,000 to $270,000

Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership and oversight of the interdisciplinary clinical team in a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) settingConduct initial and periodic assessments of participants, develop and manage medical treatment plansParticipate in intake evaluations and eligibility determinationsLead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiativesSupervise and collaborate with primary care and advanced practice providersOversee medical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure quality careEducate participants and their caregivers on chronic conditions and care plansParticipate in on-call provider rotation as requiredFoster a team-based, participant-centered care environmentRequirements
Clear and active medical license in the State of FloridaBoard Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required)Board Certification or added qualifications in Geriatric Medicine (preferred)Minimum of one year experience caring for a frail or elderly population (required)Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience (required)CDS Certification and DEA Registration (required)Strong skills in physical assessment and chronic disease management for older adultsPassion for working in an innovative, community-based healthcare settingAbility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needsAbout Us
