LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a Surveyor in Training to join our team at the Clarion office. We are a 180+ person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.
Qualifications :
- SIT required
- Minimum 2-year degree (e.g. Surveying Technology, Surveying & Mapping, etc.)
- Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects under the direction of experienced professionals.
- Candidates will follow the daily directives of a Crew Chief to complete assigned projects and overall direction from the Survey Unit Manager.
- Tasks to include working with RTK-GPS and total stations, ALTA / ACSM Land Title surveys, Construction Stakeout, As built, Utility line Route, Topographic, Property and Boundary Surveys.
- Experience with TDS and Trimble data transfer programs and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
- The candidate must be a motivated team player that is willing to work overtime and travel locally when required
- Overnight travel is anticipated on occasion.
