The Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute's Physician Assistant team is a growing department that covers inpatient joint reconstruction, spine, and acute fracture care.

Physician Assistant (PA) Description

• First and / or Second Assist in the Operating Room.
• Provides pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Documents patient encounters, including but not limited to : admissions, brief operative, progress, event, procedure and discharge notes.
• Enters, reviews and updates orders.
• Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and appropriate patient disposition.
