Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, collaborative, and creative Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) Chief of Staff who will be supporting the ATL Director as Chief-of-Staff, including assigned aspects over operations, communications, continuous improvement, financial, and special projects associated with foundry execution of operations and development objectives.

Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) - located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - is the NGMC east coast foundry where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs. Northrop Grumman's ATL semiconductor foundry is a unique capability supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, and Silicon Carbide) and providing leading-edge technology development in Superconducting Electronics and SLCFET. Our devices enable a number of Northrop Grumman's ground-based radars, avionic radars, and space systems. Our multidisciplinary foundry team enables activities from development to sustainment engineering. ATL is responsible for all aspects of semiconductor technology, including design, mask making, wafer fabrication, testing, and assembly.

The candidate must be a strong team participant, have excellent communication skills, and be resourceful and multi-talented. A strong understanding of semiconductor technology and microelectronic process engineering is essential.

Roles And Responsibilities

The position of ATL Chief of Staff reports directly to the Director of ATL. The manager will primarily matrix manage through the organization without direct reports, however direct staff may be considered per business needs. The manager will be supporting the ATL Director as Chief-of-Staff, including assigned aspects over operations, communications, continuous improvement, financial, and special projects associated with foundry execution of operations and development objectives. Roles and Responsibilities include the following :

• Analyze, track, and communicate ATL goals and metrics tied to the strategy & annual operating plan to aid in leadership, financial and organizational decision making.
• Establish and maintain the operating rhythm for the ATL Leadership Team, serving as a focal point for collaboration and meeting / event facilitation.
• Shape and develop the ATL narrative and Director communications content for strategic internal engagements with Sector and Corporate teams.
• Develop, implement and support ATL level processes and operating frameworks / models across multiple functions.
• Drive execution of strategic initiatives and tasks initiated by the Director by working with cross-functional teams and business leaders throughout the organization.
