Business Analyst Healthcare

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Healthcare domain expertise and strong SQL skills to support data-driven initiatives and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and healthcare operations to gather requirements analyze data and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements.

Work with healthcare stakeholders (clinical claims operations etc.) to understand workflows and system needs.

Write complex SQL queries to extract validate and analyze healthcare data.

Perform data analysis related to claims eligibility EHR/EMR provider data or healthcare operations.

Create BRDs FRDs user stories and process flow diagrams.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.

Support UAT data validation and issue resolution.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA CMS guidelines etc.).

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Strong experience in the Healthcare domain (payer or provider environment).

Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries.

Experience with healthcare data such as claims EDI (837/835) eligibility (270/271) or EMR/EHR systems.

Strong analytical documentation and communication skills.

Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
