Job Title: Pipe Fitter (up to $33/hr on days and $36/hr on nights)

Job Description

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting large pipes, 8 inches and up, performing saddle cuts, using a cutting torch, tape measure, beveler, tack welding, and reading blueprints. This position requires flexibility to work either day or night shifts, with each shift starting at 5 AM or 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Fit large pipes, 8 inches and above.
• Perform saddle cuts and use a cutting torch.
• Measure accurately using a tape measure.
• Bevel pipes and perform tack welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints effectively.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in a manufacturing company.
• Ability to pass a written pipe fitter test.
• Possession of a blue book.
• Experience in tack welding, saddle cuts, and pipe beveling.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pipe fabrication and assembly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
