Commercial Refrigeration Installer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install refrigeration piping (underground and overhead), and refrigeration system components

  • Install walk-in coolers/freezers and cooler/freezer fixtures

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC/R and controls)

  • Able to use basic tools such as; hand tools, tape measures, battery operated tools, etc.

  • Able to identify and understand the refrigeration cycle

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Traveling is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with refrigeration and or/commercial HVAC installation/service

  • Universal EPA or O6A trainee card or license is a plus

  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications

  • Ability to braze/solder copper tubing and fittings
