  • Location : Fayetteville, NC 28304 (North Carolina nursing jobs)\n
  • Facility Type : Short-term acute care hospital, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital\n
  • Unit : ICU – 7 Valley Pavilion\n
  • Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n
  • Weekly Hours : 36\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 12 / 2026, End : 4 / 13 / 2026)\n
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2-3\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Charting System : Epic\n
  • Scrub Colors : Royal blue and white\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : After 2 shift call-offs per 13-week assignment, all contracted hours are guaranteed\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • Active RN license (state or compact) – Registered Nurse jobs in North Carolina\n
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions)\n
  • Experience with Epic charting system\n
  • Travel nursing experience required\n
  • Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs\n
  • Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles of facility\n
  • Must provide interview availability upon submission\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients\n
  • Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1 : 2-3 in the ICU\n
  • Perform and assist with advanced ICU procedures : arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, emergency medications\n
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs\n
  • Administer blood products and continuous IV sedation / paralytics\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including pharmacy, phlebotomy, and IV teams\n
  • Float to similar critical care units as needed to support hospital operations\n
  • Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start\n
