Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to provide educational support
- Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with Applied Behavior Analysis principles
Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Proficiency in data collection methods
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Ability to educate and interact effectively with clients and their families
- Strong skills in behavior management and implementing behavioral therapy techniques
