Data Governance Specialist

A company is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to develop a public health data governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate collaboration across teams to develop a tailored public health data governance framework

Conduct assessments of current data governance practices to identify gaps and risks

Lead the development of policies and procedures for data management, privacy, security, and compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health administration, computer science, information systems, or related field required; MBA preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or data management

Experience in developing and documenting data governance processes and procedures

Advanced understanding of data management laws and regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA

Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams for information gathering and decision making
