Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to drive performance, growth, and collaboration.
- Support regional business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand the business.
- Ensure teams consistently uphold Pickett's values, brand promise, and code of conduct.
- Foster a work environment that promotes professional development and team member growth.
- Provide oversight for projects, managing engineering scope, technical standards, change orders, schedules, and budgets.
- Deliver high-quality, responsive solutions that meet client requirements and align with Pickett's standards.
- Supervise distribution design activities, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and control.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including nurturing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience :
Bachelor's degree in engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) certification12+ years of relevant engineering experience in consulting or electric utilitiesProject management experiencePublic utility experienceStrong understanding of managing project scope, schedule, and budgetKnowledge of engineering and design evaluation practicesAbility to develop improved alternatives and recommendations for distribution systems, processes, and software, with effective communication and implementation skillsCommitment to working safely and adhering to all safety regulationsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsCollaborative approach when working with peers or clientsWillingness to share knowledge openly and support team learningAbility to identify and apply relevant metrics to projects, clients, and business objectivesStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a teamCreative thinking for engineering innovations and solutionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and agile work environmentMust pass a drug screen, background check, and meet company driving (MVR) requirementsLegal work authorization in the United States Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.Benefits :
