Senior Product Operations Manager

The Technical Product Operations team applies human intelligence to some of the toughest problems facing AV development at General Motors (GM). We work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, and Business to create and iterate on products that move our business forward. We are integral to the development of GM's ADAS technology. Our products include annotated dataset for machine learning and pareto development, strategic test creation and management, and structured reviews of critical events & simulations to understand the performance of the vehicle onroad and in simulation.

We are looking for a Senior Product Operations Manager who can oversee multiple data products that directly impact the rapid, efficient, and safe operations of autonomy in GM's vehicles. In this role, you will drive clarity on product requirements, optimize operational processes, and support development of the team's strategic roadmap to create products and services that enable high quality, high coverage data that feeds directly into AV development.

The role includes :

• Leading the strategic execution of new cross-functional initiatives
• Identifying and prioritizing technical and operational initiatives that drive impact and / or efficiency; generating cross-functional agreement on implementing top ideas
• Being the voice of ProdOps to Product & Eng - clarify and prioritize product gaps; drive process improvements & best practices
• Building operational capabilities specifically around human-in-the-loop systems that significantly increase our rate of feedback and iteration on new features, processes, and products
• Scoping and implementing analyses, experiments, and pilots that inform product direction and answer strategic, cross-cutting questions
• Understanding technical details and critical datasets; working with stakeholders to design and implement improvements / solutions
• Defining metrics to track the health of the business and drive alignment among cross-functional stakeholders
• Overseeing day to day operations of large distributed workforce, partnering with relevant teams to ensure results are completed on time, cost-effectively and with objectives achieved
• Tracking, measuring, and communicating progress to leadership and stakeholders that showcases the impact of our work

Compensation :

The salary range for this role is $140k to $180k. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

This role is based remotely, but if the selected candidate lives within a specific mile radius of a GM hub, they will be expected to report to the location three times a week {or other frequency dictated by your manager}.
